PROJECT

The MAX project aims to define and test policies and actions supporting the mobility and exchanges of experience between the cultural and creative industries, creative hubs, maker-spaces, fab-labs and formal and non-formal learning and skills development systems in a cross-sectoral way and embed makers’ mobility schemes for skills development and inclusion into mainstream CCIs support programmes, policies and ecosystems across Europe.

In order to address our aim we have formulated the following our objectives:
  • To conduct a MAPPING and SCOPING of existing and upcoming makers, creative hubs and fab-lab community’ mobility programmes and relevant initiatives; guidance, methods, and tools on embedding mobility schemes and evaluation metrics to collate robust and commonly accepted guidance for interested organizations.
  • to develop a set of metrics for MEASURING and EVALUATING the impact of makers’ mobility programmes in value creation, inclusion and skills development.
  • To run a European demonstrator of makers mobility scheme including selecting and supporting makers for EXPERIMENTING and PILOTING.
  • To integrate makers’ mobility schemes into CCI’s policies and programmes, through ADVOCATING and UPSCALING the impact of the demonstrator and sharing best practices, highlighting their contribution for inclusion and skills development.
  • To build capacity and raise awareness of makers’ mobility schemes among diverse stakeholders by COMMUNICATING and PROMOTING the outputs and impact through pan-European networks and targeted promoting activities.
