S4Fashion: Open Call for Sustainable and Circular Business Ideas

S4Fashion is empowering small medium-sized enterprises to introduce new sustainable and circular economy products, services, methods, tools and business models for the fashion industry. The project aims to identify and amplify the best and up to date practices for a greener fashion sector. 

S4Fashion is a pilot project co-funded by by the COSME programme of the European Union. The project is led by the European Creative Hubs Network (ECHN), in collaboration with Evolve Entrepreneurship, Data Scouts, Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) and ZIPHOUSE.

What?

The S4Fashion Call for proposals is seeking innovative collaborative projects aiming to pilot
novel processes to create a product, service or business model with scale-up potential for
sustainable or circular fashion.

Objectives

The purpose of the call for proposals id to select and provide funding and support to 25
transnational partnerships that aim at creating a new innovative product or service directly improving the take-up and adoption of sustainability and circularity models and
practices in the fashion sectors

Practices

The selected partnerships will benefit from additional business support services such as training workshops, mentoring, brokerage events, and investment forums to ensure the innovative projects develop into a marketable product, service or business model. 

Who is it for?

Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises with proposals relevant to the fashion sectors (textiles, clothing, footwear, leather and accessories), Designers and Startups. Academia and Technology Centres are eligible only as partners.

Where?

EU member states, COSME associated countries (Iceland, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina,  North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey,
Moldova, Ukraine and Armenia) and the UK.

Duration of stay

12 months

Financing amounts

€ 10.000 for proposals with up to 3 partners.
 
€ 15.000 for proposals with 4  partners or more.
